I’m Kelsea.

Rochester is the city that made me feel at home. I moved here from Rhode Island 17 years ago and fell in love with the way it balances creative energy, community, and a small-town sense of connection. It’s vibrant, collaborative, and full of exceptionally talented makers and entrepreneurs - which has shaped both the kind of work I do and the way I like to do it.

Currently, I support a portfolio of companies at BZDesign, a boutique product design agency, transforming the digital presence of brands and products. As an Account Director I lead client relationships from discovery through execution, helping organizations identify what they need, define the right scope of work, and move projects forward with clarity.

My role sits at the intersection of client strategy, marketing, business development, and creative execution. I lead discovery conversations, develop proposals, manage scopes, guide strategic recommendations, and coordinate the creative work needed to bring those solutions to life. More often than not, I also complete the creative! That includes brand development, websites, content marketing, photography, video, animation, trade show support, and campaign strategy.

Moving from graphic design into account and creative leadership has given me a unique edge: I understand both the craft behind the work and the relationships needed to move it forward. I’m agile, resourceful, and comfortable wearing many hats - whether I’m guiding creative direction, jumping into production, coordinating collaborators, or handling the small details that keep a project moving. I also know when to bring in specialized talent and create enough space for exceptional collaborators to elevate the work.

Before my career in design, I spent 15 years in hospitality, which shaped the way I build relationships today. I know how to read a room, anticipate needs, stay calm under pressure, and make people feel taken care of - skills that continue to make me an effective client partner, team collaborator, and account leader.
